Joey was born and raised in Brevard County and is a resident of Merritt Island. After graduating from Titusville High, Joey attended Brevard Community College taking an interest in civil design. He began his nine year career in infrastructure with the FDOT while also attending the University of Central Florida. Joey completed upper level engineering and business courses that contributed to his B.S. in Organizational Business Management. Along with completing his bachelor’s degree, Joey also completed coursework earning his Florida real estate license. He has worked as a Real Estate Specialist and investor for over 17 years where he focused on building lasting relationships while serving the residents of Brevard County and surrounding areas. This experience has allowed Joey to gain extensive knowledge about Brevard County and the amazing communities along the Space Coast. Joey and his wife Erica have three children and there is no other place they would rather be raising their family, than in Brevard County. While expanding his real estate career, Joey started his first small business assisting homeowners through the hardships of foreclosure to avoid losing their homes during the financial crisis. He later went on to start a power sports business that specialized in off road vehicles for kids that immediately flourished. Joey has volunteered hundreds of hours with Brevard Public Schools and spent four years on SAC as a community liaison supporting fundraising efforts. Joey became a private pilot in 2019 and within a few short years, completed his instrument rating and high performance and complex endorsements. From experience in land development and roadway design, building small businesses, and achieving record-breaking growth in his real estate career, Joey’s business acumen and leadership experience has proven highly successful and effective. Engrained in his moral fiber are courage, generosity, faith, integrity, and honesty.
